Well, since I'm not at class, and there isn't anyone on to talk to, and I'm just kind of waiting for my next class to start, I thought I'd stop neglecting my blog and do an actual real update. Without quizzes this time.

So, first update, the American Idol concert. It rocked, if only for Kelly and my great love for her. Love in a I wish I had her talent and could be her way. She's just as cute as she seems. She just makes you want to give her a big ol hug, and since I have like a hugging phobia, that's saying something. Justin's hair did a lot of dancing. That boy has got endless amounts of energy it seems. Tamyra has an amazing voice, and Nikki still sucks ass. I wonder why I ever liked her to start with and how in the helll that she made it to the final three. I just don't get it. It certainly wasn't based on her talent.

Ejay, or however it's spelt, was SCARY. He looked like a girl, and he sang Janet Jackson's song, Black Cat. I'm still having nightmares. I get my pictures back tomorrow I think, so you all can see just how very freightening he was. Everyone else wasn't worth mentioning. Except that Ryan Starr still looks like a hooker. Best things about the concert: Kelly, the obvious love Justin has for Kelly (he had that look in hs eye every time he looked at her), and the mix of ages. There were women my mom's age and older there, little kids, and everyone in between. Worst part: the screeching prepubescent girls two rows behind me. SHUT UP already. God, I turned around several times and told them to quit yelling. It was hurting my ears. The little 6 year old boy in front of me had to cover his ears every time they yelled. God, I hate people like that. And I kept bitching about them to my mom, who went with my sis and I, and she then preceeded to remind me of how I was so happy to see Debbie Gibson in concert that I cried. And then I let the girls scream all they wanted.

Next item.....Halloween Horror Nights. Kristin and I went with my mom and her friend Rusty. The place was insanely packed, and we were only able to go on The Hulk roller coaster, Spiderman, and 2 haunted houses. Hulk was worth the wait though, that thing kicked ass. You're doing the climb at the beginning and you think you're gonna climb slow the whole way up. but then it friggin shoots you up and you don't slow down til the end. Great ride. And Spiderman rocks of course. It's a 3D ride thing, very cool. The haunted houses were scary enough that Kristin and I were holding on to one another and I kept grabbing my mom's shirt in front of me. Good times. I got a little bit tipsy and I did get a bit loud in the last haunted house line and I fell into the fence a couple of times. Kristin was tipsy with me, so it was fun. And my mom, who NEVER drinks, kept stealing my drinks to have sips. I was like, get your own bitch. Which, she said shut up and give me some. And yes, my mom and I talk to each other like that all the time. It's fun.

The next day, Kristin and I went to the outlet mall in Orlando, and I told myself I wasn't going to spend any money, that I was just there to look. Big fat lie that was. I spent $80 in the Banana Republic outlet, but, it was so worth it. Got this kick ass black turtle neck cotton sweater that I LOVE and a scarf, hat, and gloves that are so soft and pretty. And then I bought some cheap rings at the Pacific Sunwear outlet. I can't believe I was mad when the one ring turned my finger a little bit green. Why was I surprised that would happen? The three rings together only cost $5. Oh well.

On school notes, I aced my Reformation Europe midterm and my Viking midterm. The only thing that sucks though, is that the Viking classes A range is so small, that it's practically impossible to get an A. I think he wants a perfect bell curve, since the B and C ranges are huge. Hard to get an A or F. I need to read a book for a book review that's due on the 14. Thankfully the professor pushed it back til then from the 7th, or else I'd be screwed right about now.

Oh! One last thing.......GO GATORS!! We beat Georgia! Woo!! Jennem and Texas loves us right now, as they should. I didn't think we would beat them, but this team is so up and down, you never know with them. Let's hope Georgia loses one of their last 2 SEC games and we can win the last 2 of ours. Then we'll go to the SEC championship game. That would be a great end to the last season of football I'll be here for.

I think that's about it for now. Only like, 54 days or something til I leave for NY. The excitement keeps building. And also, graduation is on the horizon. It hasn't really hit me yet. But, I am going home for the weekend to send out my graduation announcements. I need some money. I figure I can get a quick $1000 from them. Let's hope. I'm in desperate need of money.

Edited to say.......go read my essay on Chrislee's site. I wrote it for an English class that looked at Gender and Popular Culture. I figure, if it's there, I should let people read it, right? Be gentle, I don't ever let people read stuff I've written. Kind of shy about it.
