Dude, that is totally me while drunk. Speaking of which, I haven't been drunk in over two months. Stupid diet. I think I need to get drunk one time before summer session is over because otherwise, I won't be able to do it until fall semester starts. Or perhaps even later. Hmm.....

So, some news on the love life. This lady my mom used to work with, who's in her 60s I think, has wanted me to meet her grandson for at least the last 6 years. He just graduated from West Point, and he's home for a couple of weeks, so this lady and my mom are trying to set up a meeting. His younger brother has a baseball game this week, so the lady thought my mom and I should just happen to be at the game. Or, they also thought of setting up a lunch date for the 4 of us. And he's hot too. I feel a little weird about it, but we'll see what happens. My love life has been flatlining my whole life, and I seriously need to shock it with some paddles.


So I changed my blog appearance. I'm very fickle and have the attention span of a gnat, so I felt the need to change. Also, I thought the other look was too dark, even though it was pretty cool. I needed something lighter. I have a softball game tonight against what we like to call the "Old lesbians" team. I swear, they are all in the 40s, with mullets. It's kind of scary. It's intramurals, so we just are out there for fun, but this team is way too competitive. So, we hate them, and want to kick their ass every time we play. Which is every week, since we are the only 2 women's teams. And we always kick their ass, even though they try to bring in new players every week to beat us.

Ok, so I just got back home from work. And as we all know work sucks. Now, my job doesn't suck as much as everyone elses, but I still would like to not have to work. So, since I do work, bitching about it is required. So, I work for intramurals as a softball scorekeeper. I only get $5.75 an hour or maybe it's $5.50, I'm not sure. In order to get decent money, it would require me to get at least 3 shifts a week. I'm lucky if I get 2. And each shift is only 2 or 3 hours long. And since they hire way too many people, I don't get many shifts. I mean, summer is the "Land Of Forfeits." Like we need a whole bunch of people to work when a lot of the games never get played, and games are only Monday through Thursday, from 6-11.




Ok, enough on the job. Other than the stuff above, it's a cool, easy job. So I'm taking an introductory Astronomy course this summer. I want an A. I need an A. Yet, I don't feel the need to do any work to get the A. I haven't been to class since Wednesday, but class was cancelled on Friday anyway, so I only missed 2 classes. Plus some other days I've skipped. And what's really sad is that I don't even have the class til 12:30. I have to do some reading sometime this week. I'm planning on it tomorrow, after I go to the gym. I need to start going to the gym more often too. Wishing away the weight isn't working.




The Buffy Season 2 DVD's come out tomorrow, and Friday I'm going to the Jewel concert. Double whee!! My mom told me that in CompUSA's Sunday ad they had the Buffy DVD advertised for like $38. So, if that price is lower than what it will be at Walmart with my grandma's 10% discount, I'm going to go get it on Thursday. I'm so looking forward to the concert on Friday. The two people I have always wanted to see in concert are Jewel and Sarah McLachlan. Now all I need is for Sarah to get touring again. I would drive at least to Atlanta to see her. Ok, I'm just rambling now. Everyone who reads this, comment on it! I want to feel loved and important. Now I have to go eat some pizza. I think SMG might be on Conan tonight. I'll have to check that out. Hmmm.
